Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)

My Review

“Ghostbusters: Afterlife” (2021) is a supernatural comedy film about a Chicago mother and her two teenagers who relocate to a run-down farm in Oklahoma which is plagued by paranormal activity. They call Ghostbusters for help, with the comedy proceeding from there. Director Jason Reitman kept this film on track with humorous dialogue, spooky production values, and a lucid screenplay he co-wrote with Gil Kenan.

Cast members are Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Annie Potts, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Bob Gunton, J. K. Simmons, and Olivia Wilde. “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” was a hit at the box office for producer Ivan Reitman, Columbia Pictures, Bron Creative, Ghost Corps, and Sony Pictures Releasing. It was filmed in Alberta, Canada. Next sequel – “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” (2024).
