Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)

My Review

Action sequences and special effects reign supreme in “Godzilla vs. Kong.” Director Adam Wingard keeps the thrills going nonstop for 113 minutes as he tells the story of the two legendary monsters clashing when Kong’s captors transport him from Skull Island to the Hollow Earth to find his ancestral home. The at least acceptable screenplay was penned by Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein.

Cast members did their best to fill in the gaps with human entertainment, including Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Elza Gonzalez, Kyle Chandler, and Lance Reddick. The watchable “Godzilla vs. Kong” was the eighth highest grossing film of 2021 for Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures. It was filmed in Australis, Hawaii, and Hong Kong.
