Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)

My Review

Action sequences and special effects are the stars of the show in “Godzilla vs. Kong.”  Director Adam Wingard (“The Guest” 2014) and screenwriters Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein did a marvelous job in creating first-rate action sequences in this fast-paced battle between two of Hollywood’s biggest monsters.  Fun reigns supreme throughout the entire 113 minute running time.

The talented cast members did their best to fill in the gaps with human entertainment. They include Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Elza Gonzalez, Shun Oguri, Kyle Chandler, Julian Dennison, Lance Reddick, Kaylee Hottle, and Demian Bichir.  “Godzilla vs Kong”  was the eighth highest grossing film of 2021 for Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures.   It was filmed in Hawaii and Australia.
