My Review
Conservative documentary director Dinesh D’Souza has come out with another film roasting the liberal establishment – “Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party.” D’Souza methodically lays out numerous historical facts that Democrats would probably prefer to forget, such as Presidents Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson’s extensive slave holdings, Jackson’s herding of Native Americans onto reservations, Woodrow Wilson’s White House screening of the pro-KKK movie “The Birth of a Nation” (1915), President Franklin Roosevelt’s Japanese internment camps in World War II, and much more.
These events are all documented in a book of the same name, leading up to the familiar excesses of Bill and Hillary Clinton. D’Souza shared directorial and screenwriting credits with Bruce Schooley. “Hillary’s America” was a success at the box office for producer Gerald R. Molen and D’Souza Media. One of his previous films was “America: Imagine the World Without Her” (2014).
