Honest Thief (2020)

My Review

Liam Neeson plays a bank robber who turns himself in to the FBI to start a new life, but is double-crossed by agents who steal his money and frame him for murder in “Honest Thief.” He must then go on the run to prove his innocence. Director Mark Williams (“A Family Man” 2016) put together an exciting movie which is a perfect vehicle for Neeson and his action-oriented ways. There’s not a dull moment in the 99 minute running time. Williams co-wrote the screenplay with Steve Allrich.

The cast includes Liam Neeson, Kate Walsh, Jai Courtney, Jeffrey Donovan, Anthony Ramos, Robert Patrick, and Jasmine Cephas Jones. The watchable “Honest Thief” broke even at the box office for Ingenious Media, Open Road Films, and Briarcliff Entertainment. It was filmed in Worchester, Massachusetts.
