Hoppers (2026)

My Review

“Hoppers” is a science fiction comedy film about people who have found a way to transfer their consciousness into animal form. One such young woman “jumps” into a robotic beaver and goes on quite a journey. Director Daniel Chong has developed a ridiculous story which is woke and promotes hyper-environmentalism. The screenplay was written by Jesse Andrews, who conceived of the story with Chong.

The voice cast includes Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Kathy Najimy, Dave Franco, Eduardo Franco, Meryl Streep, Vanessa Bayer, Joe Spano, and Melissa Villasenor. The unwatchable “Hoppers” has been popular in theatrical release for Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, and The Walt Disney Company. It was created at Pixar Studios in Emeryville, California.
