My Review

“Hunter Killer” is an action-adventure film about a U. S. submarine given the assignment of rescuing the Russian president from a military coup. Director Donovan Marsh (“Avenged” 2013) and screenwriters Arne Schmidt and Jamie Moss have crafted a fast moving two hour movie with an absorbing storyline and little down time

The cast includes Gerard Butler as the sub commander, Gary Oldman as the admiral, Common as the rear admiral, Zane Holtz and Toby Stephens as Navy SEAL personnel, Alexander Diachenko as the Russian president, Michael Nyqvist as Russian sub commander, Linda Cardellini as National Security Agency analyst, and Jane Goodall as the President of the United States. “Hunter Killer” was a box office flop for Millennium Media, Original Film, Relativity Media, and Summit Entertainment. It was filmed in England and Bulgaria.
