I Could Never Be Your Woman (2007)

My Review

If you want to see major stars like Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd fall flat on their faces, theatrically speaking, watch the romantic comedy “I Could Never Be Your Woman.” Unfocused direction and terrible writing by director-screenwriter Amy Heckerling (“Look Who’s Talking” 1989) put together an unfunny comedy and show business satire that is literally unwatchable. The performances and the production values are all unbelievably appalling and atrocious.

The cast includes Michelle Pfeiffer, Paul Rudd, Jon Lovitz, Fred Willard, Tracy Ulman, Henry Winkler, Olivia Colman, Graham Norton, Saoirse Ronan, Sarah Alexander, Stacey L. Dash, and Yasmin Page. “I Could Never Be Your Woman” was a box office bomb and after general release was quickly put on direct-to-dvd services. Unhappy news for Templar Films, Formula Films, Bauer Martinez Entertainment, Lucky 7 Productions, and The Weinstein Company. It was filmed in Hollywood and England.
