Jason Bourne (2016)

My Review

“Jason Bourne” comes out of hiding and living off the grid to uncover truths about his family and a hidden past while trying to avoid a high-tech manhunt by the CIA. Director Paul Greengrass (“Bloody Sunday” 2002) put together an exciting Bourne film which returns Matt Damon to the title role he held in the 2002, 2004, and 2007 movies. (“The Bourne Legacy” of 2012 featured Jeremy Renner in the lead role.)

The cast includes Matt Damon, Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander, Julia Styles, Vincent Cassell, Riz Ahmed, Bill Camp, and Scott Shepard as the Director of National Intelligence. “Jason Bourne” was a big hit at the box office for producers Frank Marshall and Matt Damon, The Kennedy/Marshall Company, and Universal Pictures. It was filmed in the London, Berlin, Washington D. C., Las Vegas, and the Canary Islands. Discussions on a possible “Bourne 6” are in the early stages.
