Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise (2015)

My Review

Tom Selleck stars in the ninth and final installment in his Jesse Stone franchise titled “Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise.” In this episode, the former LAPD officer-turned-police chief becomes restless due to the low crime rate in Paradise, Massachusetts, so he takes on a job as consultant for the state police homicide unit. Big challenges proceed from there, well directed by Robert Harmon from an excellent teleplay by Michael Brandman and Selleck.

The cast includes returnees Leslie Hope, William Devane, William Sadler, Kohl Sudduth, Gloria Reuben, and Ned the Dog as Steve the Dog. Guest stars include Luke Perry, MacKenzie Foy, Al Sapienza, Amelia Rose Blair, John Michael Higgins. “Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise” was aired on the Hallmark Channel in October, 2015, a production of Brandman Productions, TWS Productions II, and Sony Pictures Television. The series was filmed in Nova Scotia.
