My Review

Kevin Sorbo stars as a prominent atheist who has a near-death experience which challenges his non-belief system in “Let There Be Light.” Besides turning in a heartfelt and believable performance (somewhat reminiscent of his role as the atheist professor in “God’s Not Dead” in 2014), Sorbo also did a good job as director of this movie, which is his debut at the helm of a feature-length motion picture. The screenplay by Sam Sorbo (his wife) and Dan Gordon is well organized and flowed smoothly with some twists and turns in the plot to surprise viewers.

The cast includes Kevin Sorbo, Sam Sorbo, Daniel Roebuck, Donielle Artese, Gary Grubbs, Travis Tritt, Joe Herrera, and Dionne Warwick and Sean Hannity as themselves. The watchable faith-based movie “Let There Be Light” was a modest box office success for producers Kevin Sorbo and Sam Sorbo, LTBL Productions, Wildfire Films, and Atlas Distribution Company. It was filmed in Birmingham, Alabama.
