Miracles from Heaven (2016)

My Review

Jennifer Garner plays the mother of a 10-year-old girl who miraculously recovers from an incurable illness in addition to a nearly fatal fall from a tree in the faith-based drama “Miracles from Heaven.” This true story is based on the 2015 book of the same name by Christy Beam. Director Patricia Riggen instilled the film with excellent production values, good performances, and a well written screenplay by Randy Brown.

The cast delivered exceptional performances including Jennifer Garner as the mum, Kylie Rogers as her daughter, Martin Henderson as her husband, Eugenio Derbez as the doctor, Queen Latifah as a friend, Brighton Sharbino as the oldest daughter, and John Carroll Lynch as the family’s church pastor. “Miracles from Heaven” was a big hit at the box office for producer DeVon Franklin, Columbia Pictures, Affirm Films, Franklin Entertainment, Roth Films, TDJ Enterprises, and Sony Pictures Releasing. It was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia.
