Miss Tatlock’s Millions (1948)

My Review

“Miss Tatlock’s Millions” is a screwball comedy about a Hollywood stuntman hired to impersonate an eccentric heir at a wealty family’s reading of the will. The hilarity proceeds from there, well handled by director Richard Haydn (“Dear Wife”1949) and producer-screenwriter Charles Brackett.

The cast includes John Lund, Wanda Hendrix, Barry Fitzgerald, Monty Woolley, Robert Stack, Leif Erickson, Dan Tobin, Richard Haydn, and Hilo Hattie as Kamamamalua. “Miss Tatlock’s Millions” was a box office bonanza for Paramount Pictures. It was filmed at Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
