MK Ultra (2022)

My Review

“MK Ultra” is drama film about the CIA’s experiments with drugs like LSD and other mind control substances on unsuspecting people. Director-screenwriter Joseph Sorrentino created a film that is bogged down in the minutiae of the unpleasant effects of these strong drugs and the resulting disconcerting, and even disturbing, scenes. The film has no real story to tell that is edifying to the general public, except as a warning to stay away from recreational drug use,

The cast includes Anson Mount, Jason Patric, Jaime Ray Newman, Alon Aboutboul, and Jen Richards. “MK Ultra” made virtually no money in its limited theatrical release, and later on video on demand. This was an unprofitable venture for producer Joseph Sorrentino, LB Entertainment, Ten Past Nine Productions, Cinedigm, and Bleiberg Entertainment. The real message of “MK Ultra” is to stay away from drug use in general!
