Money (2016)

My Review

“Money” is a crime drama film about a man who casually invades a couple’s home while they are entertaining guests. He promptly takes them captive, and demands big cash he believes they have around the house. Director Martin Rosete, in his feature film debut, did an outstanding job of creating an engrossing and fast-moving motion picture that has few slow moments in it 86 minute running time. The script was well written by Josep Ciutat.

The cast turned in good performances, including Jamie Bamber as the heavy of the piece. He was famous for playing Lee Adama in television’s scifi hit “Battlestar Gallactica” (2003-2010). The vicims were played by Jesse Williams, Kellan Lutz, Jess Weixler, Lucia Guerrero, and Fredric Lehne. “Money” was released on the Netflix channel from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and Netflix.
