My Review

“Pacific Rim Uprising” is a science fiction action film where the robots must defend the human race against unstoppable deep-sea alien invaders, a mediocre sequel to “Pacific Rim” (2013). Steven S. DeKnight did a very sloppy job of directing in his feature film debut. He even co-wrote the atrocious screenplay with three others – Emily Carmichael, Kira Synder, and T. S. Nowlin.

The cast includes John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Charlie Day, Wesley Wong, Burn Gorman, Rinko Kikuchi, and Cailee Spaeny. “Pacific Rim Uprising” was a big flop at the box office for Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures. It was filmed in Australia and China.
