A group of friends discover a mirror leading to a parallel universe in “Parallel.” They discover they can steal ideas and success from their parallel selves, which leads to all kinds of trouble, not the least of which is the problem of following the confusing storyline. This is due to sloppy directing by Isaac Esban and terrible writing by screenwriter Scott Blaszak.
The cast includes Kathleen Quinlan, Ami Ameen, Martin Wallstrom, Georgia King, Mark O’Brien, Alyssa Diaz, David Harewood, and Shannon Chan-Kent. The mediocre “Parallel” did not receive wide theatrical release, only being viewed on the film festival circuit. It was a production of Bron Studios and Vertical Entertainment, filmed in British Columbia, Canada.
