Rampage (2018)

My Review

“Rampage” is a monster film about some giant animals going on a rampage across America, headed for Chicago, causing havoc along the way. Director Brad Peyton (“San Andreas” 2015) put together this mindless motion picture based on a video game series. It has terrible production values, robotic performances from the cast, and an atrocious script from Ryan Engle, Carlton Cuse, Ryan J. Condal, and Adam Sztykiel.

The cast consists of Dwayne Johnson, Naomie Harris, Malin Ackerman, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jake Lacy, Joe Manganiello, P. J. Byrne, Will Yun Lee, and Jack Quaid (son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid). “Rampage” was a big hit at the box office for New Line Cinema, Flynn Picture Company, Seven Bucks Productions, and Warner Bros. Pictures. It was filmed in Chicago and Atlanta.
