Revenge of the Green Dragons (2014)

My Review

“Revenge of the Green Dragons” is a crime drama film about a young Chinese immigrant and his best friend who rise through the ranks of one of New York’s most dangerous gangs. There are loads of problems along the way, especially the sloppy direction of Andrew Lau and Andrew Loo, an unfocused plot from the screenplay written by Loo and Michael Di Jiacomo, generally poor production values, and mediocre performances by cast members.

The stars of the show include Justin Chon, Kevin Wu, Eugenia Yuan, Harry Shum Jr., Jin Au-Yeung, Ray Liotta, Billy Magnussen, and Geoff Pierson as the Deputy Director of the FBI. The unwatchable and confusing mess of a motion picture “Revenge of the Green Dragons” was a huge flop at the box office for IM Global, Artfire Films, Initial A Entertainment, The 7th Floor, Golden Scene, and A24 Films. It was filmed at various locations across New York City, New York.
