Solace (2015)

My Review

“Solace” is a poorly written and horribly executed “thriller” movie about a psychic who works with the FBI to capture a serial killer. The drama is underwhelming and disappointing thanks to director Afonso Poyart and screenwriters Sean Bailey and Ted Griffin. In a word: Boring!

The actors seem to sleepwalk through scenes – Sir Anthony Hopkins, Colin Farrell, Janine Turner, Sharon Lawrence, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Abbie Cornish, and Xander Berkeley. “Solace” was a box office bomb for Eden Rock Media, FilmNation Entertainment, Flynn Picture Company, Venture Forth, and Lionsgate Premiere. “Solace” provides no comfort or consolation in its very tedious 101 minute running time.
