“Steve McQueen: American Icon” is a biographical documentary on the life of actor Steve McQueen, focusing on his later years and Christian faith. Director Jon Erwin and host-writer Greg Laurie interviewed several people in his life including widow Barbara Minty McQueen, stuntman Stan Barrett, McQueen biographer Marshall Terrill, McQueen’s pastor Leonard DeWitt of Ventura Missionary Church (Ventura, California), and actor Mel Gibson.
