My Review

“The Adjustment Bureau” is a science fiction thriller where a politician and his girl friend defy a secret agency that manages human fate by keeping their romance going. Director-screenwriter George Nolfi made his motion picture directorial debut by putting together this exciting scifi film which has good balance between an interesting story and action scenes.

The cast is headed by Matt Damon and Emily Blunt as the love birds defying Big Brother. Their personas and considerable acting talent more than cover the demands of these roles. Co-stars include Anthony Mackie, Terence Stamp, John Slattery, Michael Kelly, Pedro Pascal, with cameos by Michael Bloomberg, James Carville, Mary Matalin, and Jon Stewart. The watchable drama “The Adjustment Bureau” was a modest hit at the box office for Media Rights Capital, Gambit Pictures, and Universal Pictures.
