The Case for Christ (2017)

My Review

“The Case for Christ” is the real-life story of atheistic journalist and investigative reporter Lee Strobel, who sets out on a journey to disprove the resurrection of Jesus and the entire basis of the Christian faith, due to his wife’s conversion to Christianity. Director Jon Gunn (“Do You Believe?” 2015) put together an engrossing look at a man’s journey of faith, from an excellent screenplay by Brian Bird. It was adapted from the 1998 biography of the same name by Strobel.

The cast includes Mike Vogel as Strobel, Erika Christensen as Mrs. Strobel, Faye Dunaway, Frank Forster, Grant Goodeve, L. Scott Caldwell, Frankie Faison, Brett Rice, and Jordan Fox as Rev. Bill Hybels. The watchable “The Case for Christ” was a success at the box office for Triple Horse Studios and Pure Flix Entertainment. It was filmed in Georgia.
