Producer-director Bill Condon (“Chicago” 2002) and screenwriter Jeffrey Hatcher put together this gem, adapted from Nicholas Searle’s 2015 novel of the same name. Co-stars include Jim Carter, Russell Tovey, Mark Lewis Jones, Tunji Kasim, and Bessie Carter as the secretary. The watchable “The Good Liar” was a minor success at the box office for New Line Cinema, Bron Creative, and Warner Bros. Pictures. It was filmed in England and Germany.
