“The Huntsman: Winter’s War” is a sloppily made sequel and prequel to “Snow White and the Huntsman” (2012). This dark fantasy action-adventure movie suffers from a lack of focus by director Cedric Nicolas-Troy and a terrible screenplay by Evan Spiliotopoulos and Craig Mazin.
The confused-looking cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt, Nick Frost, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Stewart, and Liam Neeson as the narrator. “The Huntsman: Winter’s War” was a major box office flop for Roth Films, Perfect World Pictures, and Universal Pictures.
