The Lost City (2022)

My Review

“The Lost City” is an action-adventure comedy film showcasing Sandra Bullock’s unique brand of comedy mixed with drama. She plays a famous romance novel author who gets involved with a real-life adventure with the man who portrays her fictional hero on the cover of her books.

The results are very entertaining reminiscent of Hollywood’s old screwball comedies. Directors Adam Nee and Aaron Nee (“Band of Robbers” 2015) and screenwriters Dana Fox and Oren Uziel made this into a slick and smooth motion picture.

The cast includes Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, DaVine Joy Randolph, Patti Harrison, Oscar Nunez, and Brad Pitt. This watchable fun film “The Lost City” was a hit at the box office for producer Sandra Bullock and Paramount Pictures. It was filmed in the Dominican Republic.
