Toy Story 5 (2026)

My Review

“Toy Story 5” features a new challenge for the beloved group of toys when their owner Bonnie starts going digital using a screen-based tablet devise called “Lilypad.” The comedy and drama proceed from there, as the group scrambles to get her new friends and her attention back on them. Director Andrew Stanton (“Finding Nemo” 2003) does an excellent job of keeping this franchise current and relevant and still very entertaining for all ages. He co-wrote the wonderful screenplay with Kenna Harris.

The voice cast includes Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Joan Cusack as Jesse, Conan O’Brien as Smarty Pants, Greta Lee as Lily, Scarlett Spears as Bonnie, Alan Cumming as Evil Bullseye, Annie Potts as Bo Peep, Keanu Reeves as Duke, Bonnie Hunt as Dolly, Jay Hernandez as Mr. Anderson, John Ratzenberger as Hamm, and Ernie Hudson as Combat Carl. The very popular “Toy Story 5” is a massive hit at the box office for Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, and The Walt Disney Company.
