War Room (2015)

My Review

“War Room” is a faith based film about a young married couple’s troubled marriage and lives transformed by the power of prayer, especially through the guidance and prayers of a Christian woman friend. Director Alex Kendrick (“Facing the Giants” 2006) put together this gem of a motion picture filled with great production values, memorable performances, and a sterling script he co-wrote with his brother Stephen Kendrick.

The cast includes Priscilla Shirer and T. C. Stallings as the married couple, Karen Abercrombie as intercessor Miss Clara, Alex Kendrick, Michael Jr., Beth Moore, and Alena Pitts. “War Room” was a massive box office sleeper hit for Affirm Films, TriStar Pictures, Provident Films, Kendrick Brothers, and Sony Pictures Releasing. It was filmed in North Carolina.
