My Review

Gal Gadot stars as “Wonder Woman,” which tells her back story as Princess Diana of the hidden island nation of Themyscira, who leaves to help end World War I. Director Patty Jenkins (“Monster” 2003) and screenwriter Allan Heinberg have put together an entertaining action-adventure film centered around Gadot’s portrayal of Wonder Woman, who debuted in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” (2016) and will also appear in its sequel “Justice League” later this year. “Wonder Woman” is the fourth film in the DC Extended Universe.

The stars of the show are Gal Gadot as Diana/Wonder Woman, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Connie Nielson as her mum Hippolyta, Robin Wright as her aunt Antiope, Danny Huston as General Ludendorff, David Thewlis as Ares, Elena Anaya as a German chemist, and Lucy Davis as Trevor’s secretary and Diana’s friend. The watchable “Wonder Woman” was the tenth highest grossing film of 2017 for DC Films, Atlas Entertainment, RatPac-Dune Entertainment, Wanda Pictures, Tencent Pictures, and Warner Bros. Pictures. It was filmed in Italy, England, and France.
