Wrath of Man (2021)

My Review

“Wrath of Man” is an action-thriller film about a highly-skilled operative who goes undercover in a job as an armed truck driver in Los Angeles to hunt down the ruthless robbers who were responsible for the death of his son. Director Guy Ritchie (“Aladdin” 2019) created a very exciting movie filled with seamless action sequences which hold the audience’s collective attention throughout the nearly two hour running time. Ritchie co-wrote the often formulaic but fun screenplay with Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies.

The lead role is well played by Jason Statham, who worked with Guy Ritchie in several other films. The supporting cast includes Scott Eastwood, Andy Garcia, Eddie Marsan, Josh Hartnett, Jeffrey Donovan, Darrell D’Silva, and Babs Olusanmokun. The watchable “Wrath of Man” was popular in theatrical release for producer Guy Ritchie, Miramax, Toff Guy Films, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. It was filmed primarily in Los Angeles, California.
